5/12/2022 - Small manufacturers in Macomb County working to be competitive in the future are getting some help. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced that those looking to adopt new technologies can apply for grants up to $25,000 as part of the $3 million Industry 4.0 Technology Implementation Grants being awarded by the MEDC.

Baker College Hosts Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center Seminar

3/25/2022 - Local manufacturers were able to test out some new technology at Cadillac Baker College thanks to the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (The Center). The Center held a seminar at Baker College on the latest technology in the manufacturing industry. New Database Connects Michigan Manufacturers With Suppliers, Producers

2/13/2022 - With supply chain pressures continuing to disrupt their industry, local manufacturers have been eager to try every avenue for sourcing products and processes. They now have a new tool at their disposal. Late last month, the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) announced the launch of a tool called CONNEX Michigan, which is managed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership program and rolled out by a combination of industry groups, economic development organizations and state leaders.
