The Michigan Defense Resiliency Consortium (MDRC) is guiding the defense industry’s transition to electric vehicles and creating valuable energy storage and battery manufacturing infrastructure throughout Michigan. MDRC connects your Michigan ingenuity to the DoD’s energy needs, unlocking growth and propelling your role in the defense energy storage and battery supply chain. Led by the University of Michigan Economic Growth Institute, the MDRC has received more than $6.3M in grant and community funding to pursue technical assistance, workforce training, research, and technology acceleration initiatives that support electrification and national security priorities.

  • Located in Michigan
  • Less than 500 Employees
  • Financial Stability
  • Demonstration of critical potential to address a particular need in the defense energy storage and battery supply chain
