Lean Program Manager
Jered Tyack is a Lean Program Manager at The Center. In his role, Jered provides custom training and mentoring to Michigan manufacturers on Lean principles and tools, helping them to reduce waste, increase efficiency and improve workplace culture. His areas of expertise include continuous improvement, Lean, efficiency and organization. Drawing from his wealth of experience and passion for continuous improvement, Jered guides manufacturers through their strategic improvement projects.
Professional Experience
Jered has more than 25 years of project management and technical experience. In the past, Jered worked as a Project Manager in the aerospace and defense industry, where he developed budget and schedule contingencies, managed program deliverables and engaged in continuous improvement activities. Jered also was an Operations Manager in the industrial controls industry, where he was responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all production-related operations.
Education & Certifications
Jered is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has a United States Air Force Electro-Mechanical Journeyman certificate and an Associate of Science degree from Schoolcraft Community College.
