Emotional Intelligence (PDCs: 7)

Emotional Intelligence (PDCs: 7)

Emotional intelligence (EI) is a key ingredient in creating and sustaining a successful culture and working environment. Individuals who have achieved EI have the ability to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as recognize, understand and influence the emotions of others. Benefits of EI include improved communication, better relationships, reduced stress, ability to handle conflict and increased adaptability.

In this workshop, attendees will learn the four characteristics of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Each of the characteristics will be examined in detail, providing participants with a clear understanding of each and a path to achieving emotional intelligence.
