TAKING THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Advanced Problem Solving: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) is fundamental training for all levels of an organization ranging from leadership and management roles, all the way to team members engaged in day-to-day operations with more hands-on responsibilities.
This three-day course develops the skills necessary to become a critical part in any organization’s quality improvement initiatives. It provides a strong foundation of the Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for meaningful participation in Six Sigma project teams led by Certified Green or Black Belts. For organizations that do not currently have any Green or Black Belts, this training is the first step towards transitioning to a process improvement culture.
Upon completion (no project required for Certification), a LSSYB will understand the five phases of the DMAIC process: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control, in addition to the main Lean principles, and understand how to apply the appropriate tools to any process variation improvement, how to identify and remove non-value add work, and how to contribute to defect elimination efforts in a skilled, yet supportive role.
