Anthony Welsh

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt

Anthony Welsh is a mechanical engineer and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with more than 20 years of experience delivering projects to both the automotive and consumer products industries. In his role at MMTC, Anthony shares expert tools in critical thinking and data-informed decision making to assist clients with using OpEx and Lean Six Sigma methods to identify and close knowledge gaps driving measurable results to the bottom line.

Professional Experience
Previously, Anthony was a Mechanical Engineer and Operational Excellence (OpEx) Lead at JVIS USA LLC. In this role, Anthony oversaw aspects of both product design and continuous improvement, delivering projects from development through production launch as well as mentoring peers in OpEx Six Sigma. In the past, Anthony worked at Whirlpool Corporation for nine years where he held multiple roles. As Lead Engineer and OpEx Six Sigma Master Black Belt for Advanced Engineering, his most recent role, Anthony was responsible for training and certifying Black and Green Belts as well as completing engineering tasks on advanced innovation projects.

Education
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Plastics Products Design from Kettering University.
