Challenge

Prompted by the departure of a key staff member and upcoming IATF 16949 audit, Ultraform understood that if they wanted to retain and grow business, successfully passing their annual certification was necessary. Ultraform needed someone to lead the audit preparation and compliance process and wanted to invest in a member of their current workforce.

Solution

Ultraform contacted MMTC for assistance in training their staff, who were eager to learn and do what was needed to achieve certification. MMTC recommended attending MMTC’s IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor course and Core Tools: APQP, PPAP & FMEA course. Following training, Ultraform was able to streamline processes and become more efficient, improve documentation and better understand the auditing process. They were also able to respond to a PPAP for one of their vendors, identifying issues needing correction.
