Vice President Manufacturing Services

Bob Lyscas is the Vice President Manufacturing Services. He is responsible for all consulting and training services, facilities and information technology. Bob has an extensive history which documents proven success in the areas of Quality Management, Engineering and Supplier Assessment and Development.  He has over 38 years of experience working in the Manufacturing and Quality fields.  Bob has worked directly with the automotive industry for 7 years, a government national defense environment for 14 years and over 17 years as a consultant, coach, and trainer to a large diverse group of Manufacturing & Service companies including the Healthcare industry. 

Bob achieved status and maintains current certifications as Certified Manager (CM) through the National Management Association (NMA), Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) through the American Welding Society (AWS), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) through the American Society for Quality (ASQ), Certified IATCA Senior ISO Lead Auditor by the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), TS-16949 Lead Auditor (Automotive).

Professional Experience
Previously, Bob was the Director of the Lean and Quality Business Solutions programs for the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center. He performed and managed consultants in the delivery of Leadership ‘C’-level coaching & mentoring, employee engagement, training & application of LEAN tools & techniques in the administrative support service areas and the manufacturing floor including; Activity-Based Costing, Six Sigma projects, Product & Process launch, Supply Chain Management. He is knowledgeable and has the ability to analyze operational and financial data to capitalize on improvement opportunities that are sustainable.   He is an Executive Management Team member and participates in the Board-of-Directors meetings.  Management Team member that establishes Strategic & Business Planning direction for a staff of 37 employees and assisting five Regional Offices, meeting the requirements of NIST and the MEDC.  

Bob started his career as a Project Manager at The Center where he assisted companies in developing a Business Operating System that was compliant to ISO/QS-9000, Tooling & Equipment (TE) Supplement requirements. He also developed training materials to conduct interactive learning sessions at a Pre-Assessment specific facility and/or Audits to a determine classroom atmosphere with multiple companies. Bob performed Quality System to the Pre-Assessment Audits to determine if a company was prepared for the registration process. He was qualified to perform third-party registration audits during this timeframe.

Education
Bob holds several certificates including a Management Certification from James Madison University, Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ, and multiple ones from Rockwell International.  He also has an Associate Degree in Environmental Health & Safety from Government Institutes.
