Jeremy Bockelman
Regional V.P. and Director of Operations, The Center-Northeast
Jeremy Bockelman is the Regional Vice President and Director of Operations for the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center's Northeast Regional Office housed at Saginaw Valley State University.
Bockelman is responsible for providing technical consulting and training to small and mid-sized manufacturers within the state of Michigan. He works to improve the competitiveness of manufacturers in the state by assisting with activities that focus on quality systems, operational effectiveness (Lean & Six Sigma), leadership and strategic planning.
He serves as Executive Director of the Great Lakes Bay Manufacturers Association and directs the Saginaw Valley State University Independent Testing Laboratory
Professional Experience
Jeremy has more than 20 years of industrial/manufacturing experience, from operations to sales and marketing. Most recently, Jeremy was Managing Member of Cardinal Consulting Group, LLC, where he was responsible for assisting manufactures in the promotion, expansion, and diversification of key strategic product and market lines, as well as developing marketing and operational strategies. His background also includes executive and mid-level management positions in small to Fortune 50 companies.
Education
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, Master of Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University, and graduate coursework from Michigan State University. He was awarded the Michigan Manufacturers Association 2018 Emerging Leader Award. Jeremy is a Certified Business Solutions Professional, Certified Public Manager, Certified Hoshin Facilitator, Lean Champion and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
