Brenda Schmidt

VP Finance

Brenda Schmidt is the VP of Finance at the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center.

She brings more than 35 years of financial management experience to The Center where she is responsible for the financial operations of the organization. Brenda also is responsible for Government Contract Reporting including the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and State of Michigan Economic Development Council (MEDC).

Prior to joining The Center, Brenda was the Controller for Havis, Inc. in Plymouth, Mich., where she managed the financial operations of the business. Havis manufactures mobile office solutions for members of public safety, utility and public works, military and government, transportation industries and other mobile professions.

Brenda holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Detroit College of Business.
