George Singos

Industry 4.0 Business Leader Advisor

George Singos is the Industry 4.0 Business Leader Advisor for the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center. George brings with him more than 30 years of manufacturing experience in various capacities, including Business Development, Sales & Marketing Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Costing, Scheduling, Plant Supervision and Metallurgical Lab Management. In his current role, George manages Industry 4.0 projects on both the federal and state level. He also assists The Center’s Industry 4.0 team with conducting opportunity assessments, hosting technology webinars and presenting at regional events to promote technology implementations among small and medium-sized manufacturers.   

Professional Experience
Before joining The Center, George spent the previous ten years working in International Business Development. His primary focus was growing International Sales in Europe and East Asia while supporting North American, South American, and ASEAN operations.  He held various positions at GKN Sinter Metals, DE-STA-CO/Dover Corporation, Barnes Group, Johnson Controls (seating), ArcelorMittal, and several small and medium companies - mainly in material processing and assemblies.
