The mission of the Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) is to improve our customers' quality of life by providing demonstrably effective, efficient, and responsive behavioral healthcare.

Opened in 1968, CBH is a private, not-for-profit organization, one of 31 community mental health centers in Indiana. CBH has offices in rural South Central Indiana, primarily located in Monroe, Morgan, Lawrence, and Owen Counties. Serving over 6,000 people annually, CBH provides a full continuum of services, including outpatient psychotherapy, psychiatric services, partial hospitalization programs, residential treatment, and home-based services.

Specialized programs, for both children and adults, are available to treat a variety of disorders including depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, and severe and persistent mental illness, to name a few.
